For the first time, these privately owned woodlands were opened in January 2004. They are well marked, with lovely walks of varying lengths. There are some very old trees in the woods, some are over 300 years old.

At certain times of the year some paths may be temporarily closed due to forestry operations, shooting or wildlife management. Dogs are welcome, but must be kept on a lead to minimise disturbance to wildlife.

Walkers with dogs are welcome. Please keep dogs ona lead to minimise disturbance to wildlife. Overall a fabulous place for a walk with peaceful woodland trails, well waymarked paths, beautiful trees, great fro wildlife, plenty of car parking.
